The Challenge

HungerRush needed a user-friendly platform that would allow restaurant owners to easily build their own websites in "5 minutes or less." They also required a full suite of digital solutions, including mobile apps, POS systems, and marketplace integration, while supporting the scalability of their technology for future growth.


Our Approach

  • Strategic Partnership Since 2019
    Over a partnership of more than three years, we provided a dedicated team of 28 professionals, including product strategists, UX designers, and front and back-end developers.
  • Comprehensive Product Strategy and Immersion to Design Sprints
    We began with workshops, research, and design sprints to develop an in-depth understanding of the challenges restaurant managers faced. This led to a product vision for HungerRush 2.0 and rapid prototyping that transformed concepts into solutions.
  • Digital Ordering 2.0 Vision
    We worked on building the next generation of the Digital Ordering platform for HungerRush, focusing on scalability, improved customer experiences, and ease of use. This included designing a unified "hub and spoke" architecture, creating a modern mobile-first ordering system, a kiosk interface, and extending ordering to additional channels such as social media integrations.
  • Handheld Order & Pay Application
    We designed and developed a handheld application for seamless in-restaurant order and payment capabilities. This solution was aimed at improving customer service efficiency while integrating with HungerRush's existing POS systems.
  • Due Diligence and Technology Evaluations
    We provided strategic reviews on potential acquisitions, covering both technology integration and design alignment to ensure a consistent experience across all HungerRush products.
